Our Chartering department perform and supervise fixtures and activities for bulk vessels chartered by the Company. We maintain a system to provide the Company with up-to-date data of available vessels for chartering. The Chartering team will keep in constant contact with brokers, owners and collect the information about actual positions, freight markets, trends and analysis and share it amongst the team which help us to provide best rates. Our team is keen to learn, adapt and implement the best practice methods in continual manner so as to be competitive in the industry.
We transport a wide range of dry bulk commodities including: Construction Materials, Iron Ore, Concentrates, Minerals, Coal and Pet coke, Grain & Agricultural Products. Through our relationships with cargo clients and industrial end-users, we can effectively make the match between the cargo and the ship. Our operative background, extensive experience and close relations with first-class charterers and owners, enable us to offer our clients, the best possible solutions.
We provide Spot Freights to Customers who wish to hedge their freight risks for a single shipment in certain dates. Depending on the circumstances prevailing, this may be an advantageous scenario for traders when the bunkers and/or markets are below the benchmark levels.
We also provide COA Solutions for customers who wish to hedge their freight risks on a long term basis, which covers them from the volatility, the uncertainties of market and bunkers risks.
